Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect, from the weather, to the attire, to the venue, to the sweet, cherished moments they shared. I loved getting to experience the full joy and happiness that their wedding day inspired.
I'm so excited for Courtney and Cole as they prepare to embark on the journey of parenthood. Not only do they make a beautiful bride and groom, but they are going to make stellar parents!
Enjoy the wedding day bliss captured in their photos and narrated by Courtney's story of how they came to be Mr. and Mrs. Presley!
Cole and I met when we were 16. We were sophomores in high school. We had Drivers Ed class together.
One day (we had never talked before), I asked him if I could borrow a dollar, and hesitantly he gave it to me. Later in the week I got his number from a friend of mine and texted him and asked him if I could borrow a dollar, so he automatically knew it was me. We talked and got to know each other and hung out for six months.
We finally made it official and started dating on September 21, 2011. We spent all of high school together and when it was time to choose a college, we both decided to go to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
During our third year of college there, Cole proposed. It was a day that my family had planned family pictures, and after being together for so long, Cole was always included in them. We went to this small church to get some pictures.
Cole had made a sign with a bible verse on it as a prop. Our photographer (which was also his sister) pretended like the sign was crooked and asked someone to fix it. Meanwhile she kept taking our pictures and when she went to show me how they were turning out, Cole got on his knee and in the picture it was the back of the sign that said, "I love you with all of my heart. Will you marry me?" And I cried and said yes in front of all of my family. It was the best day.
